Ive been looking researching to buy a new upright freezer. Yesterday I explained to a manager at home depot. What exactly I was looking for in a freezer. And the prices I had found it at. He continually showed me a smaller inferior freezer (online). Finally after a heart felt discussion. He showed me a freezer bigger and better than I was looking for. Then he said he could give it to me for a 100 less than I hoped to pay.
Great store to go. Helper are very helpful and fast.. Went to pick up lights for kitchen, then looked at doors
This happened at the Delran Nj homedepot. I reported the entire situation to corporate. Alex the manager called me after I had rwported it to corporate. He didnt have much to say. Just went thru the motions. I suppose his bonus and disinterest in the going on in his store. Far out weighs calling out an employee. And taking actions to insure this didnt happen again.
Location is inconvenient unless you are passing by, otherwise you have to use jughandles and onramps to get there. Also had to use self checkout (which I don't like).
Today I found out he lied. It was willful intentional fraud. Although home depot imediately refunded my money. I'm still not ok with it. I will never shop homedepot again. Not just for this one managers deceitful act. The store manager Once it was undeniable what his manager had done. He had a clerk uniformwd of the situation. Move in to resolve it.

I wanted to buy a leaf blower and checked to make sure they had stock online first. When I got there, they told me that the only ones that they have in stock are "non functioning". Why would you advertise them for sale if they don't work?
